First introduced in 1980, Ritzy’s restaurants were patterned after the old-fashioned soda fountains and diners of the 1940s – complete with vintage furnishings and the decade’s most popular music playing in the background.

Fresh made hamburgers, casing hot dogs, julienne cut fries, a fresh variety of salads and premium ice creams containing fresh fruits, whole nuts and the highest quality chocolate flanked the menu, with a clear focus on serving high quality, great tasting meals made with the finest, premium ingredients

Then, in 2002, Ritzy’s time-warped back to the present with a bold new plan to update and reposition our concept for today’s fast casual lifestyle. To fill the void between fast food and mainstream restaurants and become the first fast casual concept to operate with a drive-thru window.

Building upon our strong operational foundation and regional brand recognition, Ritzy’s has successfully transitioned from a blast from the past to a unique and exciting family restaurant  as the “Fresh American Diner.” Yet despite the addition of many new and improved menu offerings, a sleek new contemporary design , our focus and philosophy hasn't changed:
